Love Local – Grand Valley!

The Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce, Western Slope Communications, Grand Valley Power, and Downtown Grand Junction have partnered to launch an online store for members of the community to purchase gift cards, products and services from local businesses who have been impacted by the recent public health crisis.

We invite you to participate in our online store and fundraiser to help support local businesses! We are now accepting participation from local businesses to submit items to the online store. We encourage businesses to get creative with their item submissions.

The Online Store will be available to customers on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 through May 20, 2020. The Online Store period had been extended to better support our local business community.

How Does It Work?

Local businesses will submit an item form to the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce to participate. Once the item form is received, we will enter the item in an our online store. Once the auction has finished, payment will be sent via PayPal, or check if needed. 100% of the proceeds of the sale will go directly to the business owner, thanks to our sponsors, Grand Valley Power and Alpine Bank, for helping cover the website launch and processing fees.

Which businesses can participate?

The online store will first be open only to members of Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce. These businesses will have first opportunity to submit items into the online store. After April 24, non-member businesses located in the Grand Valley may enter items if there is room (there is a limit of 300 total items).
All Businesses must have a sales tax license and report sales tax for all sales
If you are not sure if you are a member you can send an inquiry to The Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce? Please email us by clicking this link!

How will I get paid?

Once the auction has ended, The Fruita Chamber will collect the payment from the winning bidder. The Fruita Chamber will then forward that payment to your business. We strongly recommend businesses use to PayPal to collect payment. It is free to use and setting up a new account is very easy. If you cannot set up a PayPal account, The Fruita Chamber can mail a check, but this can take up to two weeks longer to send your payment. PayPal payments will be made approximately 1 week from the end of auction date.

Item forms, company logos, and questions regarding the online store can be emailed to selena@fruitachamber.org.

Thank you to our partners, Western Slope Communications, Grand Valley Power, and Downtown Grand Junction for supporting small businesses!
