Downtown Fruita, CO and Fruita Circle Park

Join us for the 2019 Grand Valley Power Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 14th at 5:30 pm in Downtown Fruita. This year’s theme, Holiday Traditions, will showcase favorite holiday traditions close to our hearts. 

The parade begins at 5:30pm with the tree lighting immediately following at approximately 6:30pm.

Interested in being part of the parade? Trophies will be awarded based on creativity, appearance, and overall adherence to the theme. Entry is $10 per group. Please return applications to the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce or email directly to


Holiday Arts & Craft Fair – 10:00 am to 3:00pm

Window Wonderland

Window Decorating Contest

Presented by the Grant A Wish Program

Participate in the 2010 Window Wonderland decorating contest presented by the Grant a Wish Program! The 2019 theme is “Holiday Traditions”. Participants will be judged on creativity, use of lights, and adherence to the overall theme. 

This contest is FREE for all Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing and $15 entry for non-members. To be eligible for prizes, participants must register on or before Wednesday, December 11th at 5:00 PM and windows must be completed by Friday, December 13th at 12:00 PM.

Judging will take place on Friday, December 13th at 4:00 PM.

The winners will be announced on December 14th at 6:30 pm during the Tree Lighting at Circle Park, following the Parade of Lights.
