Nominate Now for the 2024 Grand Marshal!

Do you know a local resident who has a reputation for outstanding community service? Each year the Fruita Fall Festival Parade honors a resident(s) who has gone above and beyond for Fruita. The Fruita Fall Festival committee is now accepting nominations for the Grand Marshal of the 2024 Parade. If you know of a Fruita Area resident who has contributed to our community, you are invited to nominate them for this great honor.

Nominations will be accepted through July 25th at the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce. Submit a detailed written description of what the nominee has accomplished in their life, using as many specific examples as possible.


Experience everything that Fruita Fall Festival has to offer with a variety of subevents to participate in! There is something for everyone at this year’s Fruita Fall Festival! From the Pet Talent Show, Art Walk, and Beer Fest to historical events such as the Outhouse Races and Parade, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Fruita Fall Festival Art Contest

The Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for an artist based in Mesa County to create a piece of artwork for the 2024 Fruita Fall Festival! This year’s theme for Fruita Fall Fest is “Rockin’ Rodeo”, and we want to see your artwork that encompasses this theme! From horses, cowboys, and rodeo clowns, we want to see your creations! The winner will receive a $500 cash prize! Artwork will be used in promotional materials for Fruita Fall Festival, such as t-shirts and posters. The artwork should be original and relate to the theme of this year’s festival.  

  • The artwork can be any 2-D medium and no larger than 18”x24” (photography and 3-D art are not eligible).  
  • All ages, skill levels, and 2-D mediums are accepted 
  • After the winner is chosen, the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce will obtain all copyrights to the artwork.  
  • All entries will be displayed on our website at 
  • All entries will be displayed at the FARM- Fruita Arts Recreation Marketplace from September 1st to September 30th. All artworks must be framed, signed, and ready to hang when delivered. 
  • Your entry(s) must be dropped off at the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce before June 21st 
  • Artworks must be picked up from the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce before October 30th
