Event & Membership Assistant
April has lived in the Grand Valley most of her life. She is the creator and administrator for the Facebook group Grand Junction Free and Low-cost Family Activities; a group she originally created to keep track of stuff to do with her own son, but had since grown to over 5000 members. She has one 7-year-old boy, who keeps her very busy.
April enjoys planning events. In her free time, April likes to spend it swimming, hiking, camping, exploring, attending markets or festivals, gardening with her mom, or anything that gets her outside in nature. She also loves music of many kinds and can often be heard saying, “Music makes the world go around!”
From kennel tech to optical lab tech, and video rentals to managing a fast food team, April has gained a wealth of knowledge through her large variety of work experiences over the years prior to attending CMU/WCCC for a degree in applied business.
