The first annual Conference In The Country presented by the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Business networking group will take place on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Absolute Prestige Ranch. This conference features a variety of speakers in panel discussions including topics on wellness, marketing, and female entrepreneurship. Choose the option to participate in a creative session with Pleasant View Gardens Greenhouse or Raspberry Hill Boutique then finish the conference with a Happy Hour Social!

Executive Director, Grand Junction Economic Partnership

Robin spent eight years as an attack Army helicopter pilot deploying twice to Iraq before moving with her husband and two children to Grand Junction in 2010 where they spend the majority of their time outside hiking, biking, running, fishing and hunting. As the Development Director for the Avalon Cornerstone Project- Robin managed the $9M capital campaign for the historic theater renovation and expansion which celebrated its grand reopening in 2014. She revamped and upgraded Downtown Grand Junction’s Special Events as a Director for the Business Improvement District before launching out on her own with Brownhouse PR- the only PR company to promote Mesa County outside of Mesa County. In October 2017, Robin launched Spoke + Blossom, a quarterly lifestyle magazine for western Colorado and was hired as the Executive Director of the Grand Junction Economic Partnership in December 2017 where she leads the economic development efforts for Mesa County. Robin is featured in the book, Band of Sisters: Women at War in Iraq by Kirsten Holmsted and the award-winning documentary, Adventure Not War, about three veterans who return to Iraq to climb Iraq’s tallest mountain.
