
2023 Fruita Fall Festival Art Contest
The Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce is in search of a local artist from the Western Slope to create an original artwork to feature for the 2023 Fruita Fall Festival. We are looking for artwork that embodies this year’s theme, “Paint The Town”. This year Fruita Fall Festival will be full of bright colors, artsy activities, and lots of local art. The winning artwork will represent Fruita Fall Festival in posters, advertising, and other promotional products. The contest is open to all artists residing in Mesa County. No photographs or digital media will be accepted.
Deadline to apply: Wednesday, June 23rd
Entry Fee: $20
Where to Enter: Click the link below to fill out the application. Once the application is filled out, artwork is due at the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce, 432 E Aspen Ave in Fruita. Artwork must be dropped off, framed and ready to hang with a wire to be displayed. All artwork will be displayed at the FARM in Fruita during the month of September. The size of artwork can be no larger than 18”x24”.
The winner will be selected on June 30th by a judging panel. The winner will receive a $500 artists stipend.
Terms and Conditions: The artwork must apply to this year’s theme “Paint the Town”. Artist must reside in Mesa County in order to participate. A $20 fee is required in order to participate. The winning artist will receive a $500 prize. Artwork can be no larger than 18″x24″. Artwork must be dropped off the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce (432 E Aspen Ave) by Wednesday, June 7th before 5:00pm. The winner will be selected on June 30th by a judging panel. All artworks will be displayed at FARM in Fruita for the month of September. Artwork must then be picked up from the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce during the month of October.
