Fruita Fall Festival

Fruita is known for its spectacular festivals.  Voted “Best of the West” by The Daily Sentinel‘s readership in 2001, 2002, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2014, 2015, and 2016. The Fruita Fall Festival is the granddaddy of festivals on the Western Slope. The event is celebrated on the last full weekend in September. This festival offers three days of events with a parade, outhouse race, carnival, two stages with live music and over 150 various vendors. 2014 marked the 100th Anniversary of the Fall Festival’s beginnings as the Cowpuncher’s Reunion.
